Includes 2 piece mounting block with return flange for lap siding. Heavy Plastic Construction. Vent damper seals out weather. Mounting block outside dimensions: 7 1/2" width x 14 1/4" length. Vent Dimensions: 3 1/2" width x 10" length rough opening, 5 1/4" width x 11 5/8" length overall. Made in the USA.

1. Remove the 2 screws securing the vent to the mounting block. The mounting block will separate into 2 pieces.

2. Secure the back side of the mounting block to the sidewall using flat head nails or screws in the pre-punched slots. Note: You may have to remove or loosen a few pieces of the lap siding.

3. Re-install the lap siding and install the front side of the mounting block with vent and secure with 2 screws in the pre-punched holes.

4. Position the damper clips so the damper will open and close properly when the range hood is operating.
