I have been having a problem with noise due to movement of the skirting. I installed these rods and the noise is nearly gone and the skirting is now very secure.
Best investment for Skirting

Being subject to high winds it definitely takes it toll on skirting with blow outs. I replaced my skirting with all new skirting from Mobile Home Parts Store last year and had bought the wind rods as well. I never installed the wind rods when I finished the new skirting as I wanted to see how well the new skirting would hold up under wind. I had a partial blow out during this winter and I know it had nothing to do with installation or product and it had everything to do with the taller pieces of skirting which had more flex and was vulnerable to wind to unseat them. I have since installed the wind rods and have had 50 mph winds that lasted a day and a half and these rods did the job and kept the skirting intact. I installed a rod at every connection point of the skirting panels. Probably over kill installing in every connection but then again for the cost of wind rods versus the cost of skirting so for about 50 cents a rod it definitely is a investment well made. Installation is quick and easy and recommended for everyone with wind problems with their skirting.

I recently replaced all the vinal skirting around my mobile home. We recently had a high wing storm that blew out skirting on the front and back of the home. After checking with the mobile home store I purchased their stock Windrods for installation around the skirting. While more difficult to install after the shirting was in place, I was able to place them as directed. Since the installation we have had some high winds and so far the skirting has remained in place. It looks like this product has done the trick.

Q: installation instructions
A: On the product page under the Installation tab, click to print.
Q: Can the 24" windguard skirting rods be used for skirting that's 36" high and hold it from blowing inward?
Q: Our skirting is 28 1/2 inch tall. Will these wind rods still work?
