Not being a A/C repairman I had no idea how important and money saving this item can be. Almost anyone could install this, just remember to close the A/C breaker before you start. I don't remember the price at the Mobile Home store, I think $8 or $10 but from the repairman it was a $80.oo part, I had to learn the hard way.
