I ordered two doors, one for each side of my brand new manufactured home. They came perfectly packed and were easy to install. Once painted, they blend into my skirting and provide easy access to the area under my house.

I purchased 2 of theses access doors , they work out good , I had framed them with 2 by 4 to stiffing it up .The doors make it easy to get under my unit and they look great. Having the access doors help me to do maintenance without dissembling the skirting . I would recommenced these just for the fact they look good and still function. The units have a locking key that holds the door closed and gives you a small amount of security.

I love the idea that you can access the skirting without taking it apart

Overall this is a fantastic addition to the skirting to provide faster and easier access beneath our home. The panel surrounding the door is thin so we added some 2x4s to the bottom to prevent any bending when going through the door. It'd also be great to have a transition for the top to the newly cut panels but it looks good enough. I also wish they had a larger sized version so we could use the area underneath for additional storage of slightly larger boxes/bins but for now it's allowing us to store our kayaks in a protected space. Very happy with this!

For 20 years I had to take a couple of skirting panels out to get under my home. Now I has two doors at each end to get under. One at the water filter to replace the filters. And at the other end to get under to work on drainage and any other lines under the home. Thank you for the sale of these doors.

Got new skirting this year and decided to order 2 access doors to finish out the project. Installed super easy( remove 2 skirting panels and put the door in). Before installing, went to a local big box store and got paint to match the skirting. They look great, big enough to allow easy access to the underside of the mobile home. I highly recommend this product.

This door system is great for its purpose. However, it really could be, and should be a little sturdier. That is why the 4 star rating instead of 5. Very easy to install, spec sheet was right on the money for prep work, doors are easily accessed and work great. Being paintable is a big plus also. When you unlock the door to open it, the door comes completely off the frame which allows perfect, unrestricted access to the underside of the home without hurting the framework of the door.

I'm in the process of refurbishing my mothers older model mobile home. I've replaced all the skirting with railroad ties and had to design a place to install the access door which I already knew I would have to do no matter where I purchased the door or from what retailer so this was expected. My only reason for not providing a 5 Star rating in that I had hoped it would a bit more sturdy. While I had hoped to find a steel door but this one is reinforced very well. My concerns on strength and durability are because the door was installed in the back of the mobile home to provide access to the water lines. This area is already enclosed by a chain link fence for two rather large dogs that have proven themselves to be quite destructive to the original skirting when in pursuit of small animals that get into their fenced area. The mobile home is located in a very rural area and small animals and rodents are a common problem. All seems to be going great with the door so far and regardless of my concerns I would recommend it to others.
