Local hardware and big chains had these spikes, but not in the color I needed. Large selection here, and I found just what I was looking for.

I had to take down my existing shutters and paint them to make a more interesting view of my house. While removing them the fasteners all bent or broke. I had to have new.\r\nThese fasteners were available online, and they were the right price, the right size, and they arrived in a reasonable time.\r\nI now have my shutters up and they make my house stand out.
