No problems, holes lined up with old cover. Should help keeping cold air out. Looks like good plastic that will hold up to uv.
Damper is preferable to fixed louvers

Replaced fixed louvered unit with this one with a damper. The plastic looks and feels a bit flimsy, but time will tell. Installation to replace the existing Ventline louuvered grille was simple, easy, and utilized the same holes and opening. Inexpensive

we needed to replace our range hood vent because the one that was there had no flapper and the heat and cold was coming in. Fit perfectly and now keeps the heat out.
