Sometimes it helps to label each battery cable for easier reconnection in the spring.<\/li>\n<li>Batteries should be checked corrosion.  If you need to clean the batteries, a common way to clean is to use a half water, half baking soda mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the batteries charged over the winter and be sure to test them monthy.  If the charge drops below 80%, recharge them.
