A: It can replace a tub the same size, this is a center drain as stated in the product description.

A: It should fit fine. You may have to go in at an angle if the door is less than 28" wide.

Q: how thick is the shower pan. I know it says 9in entrance so from top of entrance how deep to top of drain. Wanting more head room than previous bathtub.
