The product was priced well, delivery was fast.\r\nInstallation was a bit tricky, because the lock tab has to be perfectly aligned with the slot in the interior handle mechanism. I used masking tape to secure the exterior handle in place while lining up the interior handle to secure the 2 screws. I had to snap off one section of the tab in order for the lock to work (tightening the screws made the lock inoperative until I snapped off the tab).\r\nOverall I would recommend this product as an exact replacement for the original.

The handle on the sliding door totally fell apart, we could not find this part any where else.... yet the price was competitive with similar products …. out of desperation, we had tried other handles but none worked ..so glad Mobile Home Parts Store had the RIGHT part..... the handle now is installed and the family can lock the door as well as open and close the door without struggling to do so.... THANK YOU SO MUCH

Q: screw hole centers and what type of locking lever inside?
A: 5" on center, small lever handle
Q: Is item # 603243 what I need to replace the broken door handle on a 1999 Solitaire Home?
A: Not sure, we have no parts list for your home.
Q: Where do you put the plastic black tab with the screw?
A: It goes in the door jamb to guide the lock into place.
Q: How far out does the handle project?
A: Handle projects 1 3/8" on the outside and 2 1/2" on the inside.
