Q: HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE SHUTTER SPIKE FASTENERS? I WANT TO REMOVE THE SHUTTERS TO PAINT THEM. I WOULD LIKE TO REINSTALL THE SHUTTERS AND REUSE THE SAME SHUTTER SPIKES. IS THIS POSSIBLE WITHOUT DAMAGING THE SHUTTERS OR SPIKES?
A: The spikes will have to be pulled out, you may have to replace them.
