I am grateful that a washer outlet box was available for the manufactured home's 2\\" X 3\\" wall. However, the plastic box is too thin and flexes once the brass faucets were installed. The original box had this problem, and in time, the plastic in multi-size opening perforated holes actually broke leaving the faucets being held in place by the CPVC pipe in the wall. With the new box, I had to glue two 2 1/2\\" (OD) metal washers to either side of the faucet holes to gain the rigidity needed for the box. This product works, but could be strengthened a bit.

This was a great buy. I look at Home depot, Mccoys, HBC, for the washer outlet box. I looked on line found this site.I roamed this site and found some windows, this I want to buy.

We are in the process of gutting and remodeling a manufactured home. The previous owner had an unsightly setup and this worked to make the laundry room more presentable. Thanks!

I was lucky to find a part to fit a mobile home. Lowes didnt carry any parts that fit inside 3 inch walls. I wish they made the part a little better like a house part. The plastic should be a little thicker maybe and have a place in the bottom of box for water to drain in case a hose or faucet ever leaks, it should be able to drain into the 1 and 1/2 inch drain line that runs to the box. I realize mobile homes are'nt as easy to do home repairs on.

This part is an exact replacement part for my washer outlet box. My problem with the quality of the washer outlet box is the plastic ring the brass faucets sit in are so flimsy that the slightest mishandling of the faucets can easily break the plastic ring that holds the faucet in the box. Otherwise, the box was exactly what I needed.
