Genius that I am I only figured out to actually look online for outlets and switches for mobile homes. I was seriously impressed with this sites reasonable prices, and even more impressed that I don't have dangling fixtures anymore lol. This outlet replaced a worn out rv outlet. Transferring the wires is not difficult if you look on youtube, for a procedure using c clamps and the old outlet back. The part is solid and sturdy.

It is my understanding of reading a blog that this brand of outlet is of a more durable nature than at least one other brand. That being said this unit was priced right and delivered on time. One needs to notice it does NOT include the cover plate. I cant imagine one wants a different color to the outlets. One should note that this self contained outlet and box was designed to have the wiring installed with a pricey special tool. That is not to be said one can not install the wiring with a pliers or needle nose, however one should note it is not a typical wired outlet method. One may be interested to note that 2 romex may come in form one side or another may exit the other side once removing the break off tab.

I bought 2 of these back in 2014 (one as a replacement and the other as a spare) to replace a broken receptacle in the living room. This had been likely broken since delivery and I didn't notice until the receptacle was used. Perfect drop in replacement for the Wirecon type wiring for our Clayton Home. Mobile Home Parts Store had the right part for the right price and the shipping was reasonable via USPS. So happy with my first purchase I have come back to order a replacement Wirecon switch for the bathroom.
