Tthe vent was just what I had been looking for and it met my expectations and was so easy to install.

There was significant heat/cooling loss through the original range vent. This vent, with a damper that can be secured by a clip, fixed the problem. This home is now cooler, and the air conditioner does not run as long. I recommend this for any home with a range vent that lacks a damper. The fit wasn't perfect (the mounting holes didn't line up ) but it did install.

This unit fit my mobile home perfectly and without problems. I recommend this because it does have a locking flap to prevent dirt entry, insects, etc.
