RV season is right around the corner and this is the perfect time to prepare.
Perform a thorough inspection of the interior of the RV. Be sure the cabinets are secure and check for water leaks. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace any that are defective. Check all appliances to be sure they are working properly. Unfortunately, insects can be a problem with RV’s that sit for a while so check for wasp nests and any other signs of insects.
You also need to check the exterior of the RV. Inspect the tires, taillights, headlights and all other working parts. It is best to have someone with mechanical experience check the engine to make sure it is working properly. This is also a good time to wash and wax the exterior of the RV.
