Q: what is the distance between screws that holds handle in place? I need it to be four inches.
A: The screw holes are 4" on center.
Q: is the look external or internal...
A: both
Q: Our sliding glass door does not have an exterior lock. Will this lock work if we remove existing handle?
A: Since it does not have a lock no way to be sure if it will work.
Q: Our patio door is a kinro vinyl but has an internal lock. I need a handle for it but am not sure if this will work. Please let me know.
A: No way for us to know if this will work on your door, kinro has changed these locks over the last 2 years.
Q: WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE LOCKING UNIT AND ARE THE ENDS OVAL OR SQUARE?
A: The locking unit is 3 5/8 inches long and has square ends.
Q: will this work on a 1 1/2 thick door?
A: Yes.
