Poor design, cheaply made, and difficult and expensive to install

This is NOT a negative review of the Mobile Home Parts Store. I would give them a 4 out of 5 because the first switch I received was broken in 2 two places and unusable. They sent me a replacement right away with no pushback and I didn’t have to send the broken one back. The Wirecon switch however is the pits. The back cover plate is so flimsy it’s hard to use. They make a special tool to for e the wires into the connections which I found for sale on the internet for prices ranging from about $450 to $650 and all it is is an intricate pair of pliers. I was able to find an aftermarket tool that I hope will work for about $25 but I still think it’s ridiculous to pay that to install a $10 switch. Unfortunately I have found no alternatives because there isn’t enough space to install a standard switch in my RV panel.

I really like the light switches.. I am so glad that they were available. I have been dong some remodeling and my old one needed to to replaced. I like that I was able to purchase white.

I bought 4 light switches and they all worked well except one of them. The problem was where the connection is made inside when you flip the switch it was not making full contact. This problem was noticed after I installed the switch and had me scratching my head. Under further inspection and multiple trips to the breaker box to recheck my hook ups I was able to remove the switch and bend the bar to get a good secure connection. That's the only reason I give this product only 4 stars. And yes I would buy this product again.

This switch was exactly what I needed. A perfect replacement. However, it is not the easiest switch to install without the proper tools. Never the less after about 2 hours I figured it out and had success. \r\nThanks for your help.

Our motorhome came with the same brand of receptacles only they were a rocker type switch. Eventualyy some thing inside would wear or break and you would have to fight to get them to stay off. I love the new ones. Time will tell. I wish it were easier to push the wires in place.

I was surfing the web for a wall light switch and came a cross Mobile Home Parts Store. Not only did they have the part, it was exactly the part I needed. the view display was just like looking at the real thing. I ordered it and in 3 days it was on my porch.

Q: what is the outside dimensions and what are the dimensions the hole in the wall would need to be. You show two different styles and one looks bigger than the other.
A: Outside dimensions: 2 3/8" x 4 1/4". Hole cut out dimensions: 1 5/8" x 2 3/4".
