I've ordered these twice for two different homes. I can't comment on how well they hold up because the oldest ones are only a year old. However, they are good looking covers and seem to be built pretty tough. The price is unbeatable and I wouldn't hesitate to order again assuming they continue to hold up over time.

I purchased these for my mother to replace the rusty, metal ones. I only ordered 5 to begin with because I was not sure she was going to like them. She loves them and told me to order the remainder. No small children or rust to worry about.\r\nThey look good too and are inexpensive. I highly recommend buying these to replace your old, rusty metal ones especially if you are on a budget and can't afford some of the fancier, more expensive ones.

I order 8 of these vents to replace my old metels one and they stand up good to traffic over them and not as easy for the dials to break like the metel ones.

Q: What is the depth of the floor vents? I am installing carpet and padding and have concern about the depth being to shallow.Thanks,Angela
